What are you proposing to do? (Product range and distribution)
I would like to make textiles based on 'lipstick' feminism by combining girly patterns and third-wave feminist quotes. I will also be exploring the three aims of third-wave feminism and try to combine some imagery based on this into the patterns. I would like to create some textile patterns and draw with stitches and shapes of materials. Cushions and makeup bags will come from this however time constraints will influence how many I am able to make or if I will just design them.
What do you want to achieve?
I want to create a surface pattern design that reflects the aims and meanings of third wave/lipstick feminism. Embracing being whatever you like- mainly focussing on being able to be both a feminist and girly.
What do u want to learn from doing it?
I want to learn techniques useful in making materials and textile products. I also want to learn more about my subject and about influential people in the field. I also want to learn more about pattern designers such as William Morris etc.

General themes/specific subjects
