I have been looking at loads of haute couture and up and coming models at the moment as I am researching for our collaborative Scavi and Ray project. As it is linked to LFW and other fashion shows and glamorous clubs and bars globally; I thought that using up and coming, and top models and designers within the illustrations drinking the prosecco in different settings would be a fun way to link the two; draw the audience in to buying the product; and attract the attention of the models/designers themselves.
The brief requires a fun and flirty feel... nothing too serious. It does not have to be an occasion like for example with champagne, it is casual and unpretentious! However the power of selling the lifestyle in the campaign also needs to take effect; I decided that including celebrities (models and designers) will draw in the audience and make them envious/wish they were there having drinks with them - fun and cool. However it wont be too pretentious if I can manage to portray them with cool and quirky clothes but in chilled out poses with their friends relaxing or having fun (freedom). The background setting if there is one will be related to girls in social occassions so could range from; having their nails/hair done, clubbing, afternoon tea, dinner party, brunch, house party, garden party, exhibition, fashion show, shopping? etc. (Prosecco - as the perfect fashion accessory?)
Because you can mix the prosecco to make cocktails, I was thinking that I could draw/paint these to match/reflect the mood of the fashionable outfit?
