Moving Pictures: After Effects Workshop

After Effects 
N ends time line for preview 
P choose position 
Circles = motion blur 

Adjustment layer apply effects to all layers - solid layer composition size 
Click half black circle 
Apply effect right hand side 
Drag 'hue and saturation/levels'  on to screen (adjustment layer should be selected) 

Stop watch thing - key frame 
Opacity under transform 
Toggle switches modes - normal- multiply 

2 layers next to each other - track matte - alpha means transparency - alpha matte- only see the animation of the layer below it where there were pixels in the photoshop image 
Alpha inverted does the opposite 
Could make text in photoshop 
Animation could appear inside 
Could animate scale of psd so that it reveals or hides below image 

Luma matte colour combining 

Group layers together but stil work on them independently 
Parent layer
When u select parent if u change it's position or scale they all change but u can still animate them all independently 

R - rotation

Select layer 
Layer menu
Transform 
Auto orient 
Orient along path 
(Changes position according to direction)

Select all layers- 'u' see all effects e.g position key frames 

Acceleration and deceleration 
Select first key frame
Animations menu
Key frame assistant 
Ease in -deceleration 
Ease out - acceleration
Easy ease- when start and end key frame are selected 

Animation
Key frame interpolation
Back to linear goes back to normal 

Right click key frame 
Toggle hold key frame 
Holds the layer in that position until next key frame
