During the summer we were set a task to create ten illustrations in answer to ten questions about our summers. I used watercolour and fine liner to produce colourful and detailed images. I planned work in my sketchbook and then combined and edited ideas to create the final pieces.
Originally I planned to edit the sketches with Photoshop however this was far too time consuming for the effect that I wanted and the work were too much like a finished illustration lacking the atmosphere of my hand drawn pieces above.
My peers then reviewed my work and left feedback which was helpful as it identified what worked well in the pieces.
