Photoshop Workshop 1

In my first photoshop workshop I was introduced to some of the main tools and devices in the programme. I also learnt how to use the scanner and the correct resolutions to use for work.

I used some examples to practice on and then tried on my own by scanning in an image at a slanted angle with creases. In order to make my image look more professional I used the image Threshold tool and Grayscale to get the right colour palette and have a certain amount of contrast so that the background remains white/blank. I also used the crop tool to get rid of the surrounding area and I rotated the image slightly to ensure the face was at the correct angle.
